I have spent most of my life in the Pacific Northwest, primarily in the Seattle area and in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada), and have always loved being near and on the ocean, whether that be visiting coastal forests, mountains, or doing some chilly surfing in the Pacific Ocean. The more I learn and engage with the shorelines, ecosystems, and systems here, the more inspired I am to further my understanding and contribute to their restoration and/or continued success. Having worked along the coasts of British Columbia in the past, I am excited to have the opportunity to extend my knowledge across the border in the PNW.

I am excited to be working at Blue Coast Engineering, and to focus on restoring and understanding the physical processes of unique sites around the Puget Sound. My work at BCE focuses on using observed and measured data, as well as numerical modeling, to aid in coastal engineering design and analysis.
