I am from Falmouth, Massachusetts where I grew up surrounded by the ocean and observed firsthand how human developments have had an impact on our coasts. I am now an engineer with a passion for studying the coastal environment and overcoming the many challenges and constraints on projects in Puget Sound and coastal Washington. I enjoy the wide range of the coastal and hydraulic engineering spectrum from field data collection, hydrodynamic modeling and analysis, and conceptual design through construction oversight.
When I first visited Bellingham in 2011 I was awed by the natural beauty and I enjoyed the laid-back yet highly caffeinated vibes. I am very fortunate to now be able to call northwest Washington my home since 2013. I joined the Blue Coast Engineering team in 2021 to continue to pursue habitat restoration and coastal resiliency projects at a local level. When I’m away from the water, you can usually find me camping in the foothills of Mount Baker.
