Growing up on the coast of North Carolina, I have seen firsthand the devastating impacts that coastal hazards can have on communities. As a coastal engineer I am excited at the potential to help protect such communities in a sustainable way. Having completed a numerical modeling focused Master's thesis, I look forward to new experiences and opportunities to perform field data collection, construction oversight, and design work.
During my Master's program at Oregon State University, I was blown away by the natural beauty that the Pacific Northwest had to offer. Knowing that this was where I wanted to stay upon graduating, I was thrilled to find a company in Blue Coast Engineering that performs work I am passionate about. In my free time I enjoy camping, snowboarding, and recreational sports.
